Austrian Institute of Innovation
The Austrian Institute of Innovation (AIOI) was founded in 2021 as a technology and innovation center and is located in Voitsberg, Austria.
With our clear positioning as Europe's No. 1 competence center for Identification, Localization, Digitalisation and Wireless Charging 2.0 and as an enabler for Industry 4.0 solutions, we offer and empower real competitive advantages for our customers and a sustainable increase in their innovation performance. We make this possible independently with international, renowned partners from business, science and the public sector.
Our unique selling point is a fully functional innovation and function laboratory that can be driven and walked on via two industrial gates and is unique in Europe. On an indoor area of approx. 550 m², an outdoor area of approx. 400 m² and a room height of 4 m, production and logistics processes are simulated in a practical way by making the latest technologies and innovations of our partners usable and tangible. The connection between the real and the virtual world is also illustrated in a practice-oriented manner via live streams.
Another goal is to strengthen and expand European industry with and through innovative start-ups, which we promote and support.
